Holy shit what is that?! Lineless? Realism? No way
Its not the first time im actually trying realism, but its the first time I succeded, and managed to finish the picture. What can I say, with such a foal, I got motivated. It was fun and it took me less then I thought. Gotta do it again!
So, I WON. I won him and I am happier then ever. Just look at these cute markings [link] So, yep, meet Taladinn.

I did trace the original sketch from the photo reference, because originally I didnt mean to post or even finish the portrait. In fact, it wasnt even saved XP Forgive me guys, and my laziness,

Story

While most of the RFS staff was at the Fallen Angel stables, for the Olympics, back home in Romania there was a lot of peace and silence. The very few people who were assigned by Ashley to take care of the stables and the horses were getting bored.
One day, at around 2 pm, everyone decided to go for a picnic in the woods. After they gathered some food and drinks and everything else they thought is needed, they mounted some horses and started leading the foals to the pasture. Afterall, the horses needed a break too.

A few hours later the silence of the mountains was gone. Everyone was laughing, singing, talking, everyone was having fun. The foals were running together while the older ones were resting in the shadow of a few trees. Th girls started to look on a few magazines while the boys were drinking some beer. Suddenly, Zane heard his phone ringing. He started searching for it between food, drinks and other things. ''Excuse me, ladies.'' he said, as he found his phone between the girls's stuffs.
He left the group so he could find some silence.

''Zane here. ... Yes. No, I dont think so. ... Of course, no problem. Yes. Im not there right now but Im not far away. I can get there in a second. Let me call you back.''

The mysterious call made the others stop from what they were doing. The girls were gossiping about who could have called him and of course, some laughs could be heard.

''I need a few of you to come with me. Karen, you too.''

''Whats going on?''

''Ashley called. The elite foal auction ended and we won hip #12. The foal is on its way and she forgot to tell us we need to do the papers. I think we have about one hour to get a stall ready and finish the paperwork for him. So I need help or we are all screwed. However Id like a few of you to stay here, im sure we will get back after we finish.''

Zane and Karen rushed to Ash's office to start working on the papers. In the same time, the others were re-organisating the stalls to find the right place for the little foal. They decided to place him next to Monopoly and Lace, so he could be surrounded by other warmbloods. The boys started cleaning the place and preparing the horses for a newcomer. The rush surely made the horses agitated. Meanwhile, Zane was talking to Karen.

Karen: ''Good thing she called you at least now.''
Zane: ''I can even imagine the foal arriving while we were still at the picnic, and us starting to panick not knowing what to do.''
Karen: ''Why not? Afterall, it happened before right?''
Zane: ''I was trying to forget that -.- At least back then, Ash was here with here with us, now she is at those god damn Olympics.''
Karen: ''...at those god damn Olympics, trying to show the world how good the RFS horses are.''
Zane: ''Right, right.'' *eye roll*
Karen: ''Stop it. Lets finish here.''
Zane: ''I already finished. In the last 10 minutes I kept staring at you.''
Karen: ''Zaaaane, not now.''
Zane: (walking towards her) ''Come on, you cant expect me to resist forever to your calls.''
Karen: ''MY calls?!''
Zane: ''I know you want me, its a clear thing.''
Karen: ''Right. Like you knew a new foal is coming.''
Zane: ''Exactly.''
Karen: ''What ever. J-just go check the stall.''
